60 minutes did a story this week about what makes a person gay or straight.
I was not an overly girly kid, I played lots of sport and loved climbing trees, but when i was 5 my best friend was a girl who had lots of barbies so I asked my mom for a Barbie for my birthday. Mom compromised by getting me a Ken doll instead … it seems funny to me now that my mom probably didn’t want me to play with Barbies in case they made me gay, so she got me a macho sexy guy doll instead.
It’s interesting how they can makes rats ‘act like a female’ by castrating them and giving them hormones. But I think scientists should focus on making the rats dominant, we need more tops in the gay world.
Watching this report made me think of an idea for a movie or a book. What if scientists found the ’cause for gayness’ and they developed a cure so essentially there were no more gay people. 50 years later everybody is straight but people start to notice how music and art has become really crap, basically the cure for gay has erased the creative part of peoples brains. There are no more Oscar Wilde’s or Leonardo DaVinci’s or Katy Perry’s. Then there is one gay, he is immune to the cure for some reason, and he is really fascinating to all the straight people because of how he dresses, and how he can dance and his wicked sense of humor …. basically he’s a hybrid of David Bowie and Hugh Jackman. So everyone decides the world actually does need gay people, and they stop giving babies the gay cure, and everyone lives happily ever after.
I wonder if there is a cure for heterosexuality.
The cure for straightness is muh sexy body :p
wow, i am so confuse after watching that vid. It only make me dislike myself even more. :/
